Juvelook vs. Rejuran vs. SkinVive — Choosing by Goal

2026-08-11 · Reviewed by the medical director (review date to be posted)

The short answer

The right question is not 'which booster is better' but 'what is my skin missing.' If the goal is collagen production and texture, consider Juvelook first; if it is restoring regenerative capacity, Rejuran; if it is inner dryness and glow, SkinVive.

Do the three boosters differ in what they contain?

Juvelook uses PDLLA (a biodegradable polymer) to stimulate collagen — a booster that makes the skin 'build.' Rejuran uses polynucleotide (PN) to restore the damaged dermal environment — a booster that helps the skin 'repair.' SkinVive uses micro-droplet hyaluronic acid to hold water — a booster that keeps the skin 'stocked' with moisture.

Which concern calls for which booster?

Texture problems — pores, shallow scars, fine lines — need collagen, so the Juvelook line comes first. If recovery after procedures has slowed or the skin has thinned overall, Rejuran comes first. For inner dryness that makes makeup sit poorly and for lost radiance, SkinVive is the most direct answer.

In practice, plans often combine two boosters across different phases — for example, restoring the foundation with Rejuran, then refining texture with Juvelook.

Why are multiple sessions needed?

Boosters are not finished at the moment of injection — they work by inducing the skin's own response (collagen production, regeneration), so results are built through sessions typically 3-4 weeks apart. We recommend judging after completing the set, not after one session.
